Derby City Council has secured funding through the Government's Playbuilder programme to undertake the refurbishment of play areas across the city. 

In the city wide consultation during spring 2009, the Council asked which play areas within the City should be refurbished.  Darley Park was one of the chosen sites for improvements. 

The refurbishment work is to take place during 2010-2011 financial year and as such to start the process we are holding a public consultation event on Saturday 10 April 2010, from 10am to 2pm.  The event will focus around model making and allow people to put forward suggestions for the refurbished play area.
